no, i have plenty of experience doing this and all the protective gear, so it took about 30 minutes and no itching involved. They actually even sell rolls of it that are sealed in plastic so you don't even have to worry about it, but they were $1/per roll more so I just went with the cheap stuff. I didn't want a moisture barrier and I assumed the plastic would do that, but I didn't ask.
