Share you a photo from Picasa

Here are some photos from my diving trip.  The pictures were taken by people who were with me, so some of the things I saw aren't in the pictures, and some of the pictures are things I didn't see.  There was a shark and a manta ray that aren't in these pictures, but as you're browsing, look for the trumpet fish, the barracuda, and the octopus.

Another thing to keep in mind is that these pictures were taken with a relatively inexpensive camera, so although the images are pretty good, some colors are just difficult for cameras to detect while under 50-100ft of water.  And like many environments, but particularly here, any single picture can't really show what you see all at once underwater, so try to imagine most of these photos all stitched together in a circle all around you, and you'll get the idea of what it looks like to be there.

Update: the shark is in the pictures. Make sure to click on the "next" link in the pages to see all the pictures (there are almost 400. I'll see if I can get a slideshow to work somehow...)
